We did lots of legs and core work including: lunges, step ups, goblet squats, hip band exercises (for the glutes), ab work on the mat and hiit based cardio intervals. Another cardio workout in the bag! 5000m row to finish my upper body and core workout from tonight. You will notice that I don’t fully extend my legs and that is to protect my lower back. I suffer from hamstring tightness, which is the result of some tension on my sciatic nerve. So, I just work within ranges that are comfortable for me and my own mechanics. Opening up like a professional rower does on the concept 2 would just kill my back, so this posture and movement works for me.
